Dear LUcANa Family,

In this issue, we'd love to share why LUcANa chose to focus on Japanese and Korean stationery.

The owner hail from Japan and moved to Morgantown when she was 18. It's here that she met her Korean husband, and together, they're raising children in this vibrant community. 

Our beginnings were humble, and for now, we're centered on two countries. Yet, as we grow and learn, we dream of expanding our offerings to embrace other cultural treasures within and beyond. 😊 Thank you for being a part of this journey!

Friendly shoutout to Hanatsumugi in Japan! The owner, who used to study in Morgantown, now owns a Tsumami Craft accessory store. You'll be amazed by her art pieces, where each flower petal is meticulously handcrafted from tiny fabric pieces. The traditional technique of shrinking fabric pieces gives the flowers a Japanese traditional vibe, beautifully incorporated into modern and stylish accessories.

Final Thought

We had lots of snow! It is always good to watch it from inside, but this time, actually we went out to make snow angels, and got to see the sky as laying down on the snow. It was beautiful! Hearing all kids cheering by sledding in the distance, felt thankful for the people who worked under inclement weather.
